Bio
Starting a new habit with something old (and new) can bring on a mixture of emotions. Some of these feelings could be fun, hard, challenging and even a little shaky at times before you feel comfortable with it. As a therapist, Allie is passionate about clients having a comfortable space in their sessions and outside of sessions. Allie has received her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology with a minor in Women’s Studies from the University of South Florida (Go Bulls!) and Master’s degree in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Caldwell University.
Allie has worked in a variety of settings, ranging from in-patient hospital settings in crisis work, to working with families who have loved ones that have mental health challenges of all ages. Allie utilizes a person-centered approach while integrating cognitive behavioral therapy (CBT) and influences of gestalt therapy.
In Allie’s free time, she spends time being with her friends and family, traveling, and taking care of her plants at home.
