Bio
Kelly received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology from Saint Joseph’s University and her Master’s in Counseling with a Specialization in School and post-Master’s Certification in Mental Health Counseling from Caldwell University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC), Approved Clinical Supervisor (ACS) and Certified School Counselor in the State of New Jersey.
Kelly’s experience in the counseling field consists of working with children and adolescents in a school setting including higher education. She has gained experience working closely with all ages- children, adolescents and adults. She uses Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and Solution Focused Techniques, which means in sessions, she will focus on addressing your thought patterns, focus on improving your inner self-talk and address behavioral patterns. While working with families she uses a parent-coaching approach. Her goal is to set a judgement-free space for clients to be able to openly share and emotionally grow.
Outside of the therapeutic setting, she enjoys spending time with her family and friends, exercising and cooking.
