Bio
Olha is a Licensed Associate Counselor and a Certified School Counselor in New Jersey. She received her Master’s Degree in School Counseling/Mental Health Counseling and her Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology from Montclair State University.
Olha’s experience includes working with children and adolescents struggling from anxiety, depression, ADHD, ODD, stress management, grief, life transitions, academic struggles, low self-esteem, and others.
Olha focuses on providing clients with a safe and non-judgmental environment where clients can begin experiencing growth and healing. She primarily works from a strengths-based therapeutic approach aimed at empowering clients by uncovering their existing strengths. She also utilizes other therapeutic approaches including but not limited to CBT, MBCT, person-centered, solution-focused, and interpersonal therapies.
During her free time, Olha enjoys playing piano, photography, meditation and yoga, and going for long hikes.
