    Bio

    Kelly is a Licensed Professional Counselor and Certified School Counselor in the State of New Jersey. She holds a Master’s degree in Professional Counseling from William Paterson University as well as a Bachelor of Arts from Temple University. Kelly is board certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors and has specialized training in trauma, crisis, anxiety management and is a Certified Trauma Professional.

     

    Kelly’s professional experience consists of working closely with individuals from many walks of life with a range of goals and issues. She has worked with children and adolescents in the school setting for many years, building counseling relationships and collaborating with parents, families, and school staff. She has also worked with adults, adolescents, and children in clinical settings as a mental health clinician.

     

    Kelly utilizes a person-centered counseling approach, aiming to create a non-judgmental environment where clients can feel safe to express themselves and grow. She values humor and authenticity and has a supportive and collaborative style. She employs eclectic interventions, often using CBT, Solution-Focused, and Trauma-Informed modalities. She also believes in using creative and unique interventions tailored to the needs of each client to allow for personalized care. Kelly strives to empower clients and help them grow through the challenges they are facing.


    In her free time, Kelly enjoys reading, camping, traveling, the theater, and spending time with her friends and family.
