Bio

Tia Maddaloni earned her Bachelor’s degree in Psychology from William Paterson University and her Master's in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Liberty University. Prior to graduating with her Master's, Tia worked as a behavioral assistant where she gained experience working with several different mental health disorders, allowing for an expansive clinical understanding of different clinical challenges and presentations. Tia has extensive experience working with youth and adolescents, where she incorporates both play and art techniques, as needed.  Since graduating, Tia has continued to work with a diverse population of clients in an outpatient setting, allowing her to utilize an integrative therapy approach with her clients, which includes Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT), Person Centered Therapy, and Dialectical Behavior Therapy (DBT). Tia is able to tailor her approach to ensure it fits the individual needs of each client.
