Bio
Marcy graduated from Columbia University in New York City with a bachelor’s degree in English literature and years later moved to New Jersey where she raised her family and went on to earn her Master’s of Clinical Mental Health Counseling at Kean University where she graduated with honors. Marcy is a Licensed Associate Counselor and a Nationally Certified Counselor.

Marcy’s experience in the counseling field consists of working with adults struggling with depression, anxiety, life transitions, anger, stress management and relationship issues. She also has experience counseling college-age students in a university setting with academic and emotional issues helping them set life and educational goals and deal with issues that may be hindering their happiness and success. She provides therapy services to adults, adolescents, children, families, and couples. Marcy uses an eclectic approach to therapy using several evidence-based therapies to treat a wide range of issues and to create a safe, warm, accepting environment for her clients to thrive in. Marcy uses an individualized approach for each client because every client is unique with a different set of circumstances and goals.

In her spare time, Marcy enjoys spending time with her family and friends, hiking in nature, yoga, skiing, gardening, and going to the beach.
