Bio
Katelyn received her Bachelor of Science in Psychology with a concentration in counseling from East Stroudsburg University and her Master's in Education degree in Professional Counseling from William Paterson University. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) and Certified School Counselor in the State of New Jersey. In addition, she is also a National Certified Counselor.
Katelyn's experience in the counseling field consists of working with children and adolescents, ranging in age from 5 to 18 years old, in a school setting. In addition to working with children/adolescents, she has gained experience working closely and collaborating with the adolescent's parents, teachers, and school case managers. Using both a Solution Focused and Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) approach, she believes in using creative and interactive techniques in order to keep her clients engaged, all while creating positive therapeutic growth.
Outside of the therapeutic setting, she enjoys kayaking, skiing, scuba diving, and traveling with her family.
