Bio
Natalie received her Bachelor of Arts in Psychology and earned her Master of Arts in Clinical Mental Health Counseling from Fairleigh Dickinson University. She is currently working towards her PhD in counseling at a local University where she is a research fellow for the counseling department. She is a Licensed Professional Counselor (LPC) in the State of New Jersey. Natalie is also board certified by the National Board of Certified Counselors.
Natalie’s clinical experience includes a wide variety of populations including adults in an outpatient psychiatric setting, children, adolescents, and veterans. She also has experience administering and scoring Gilliam Autism Rating Scale (GARS-3).
Natalie strives to empower each client by creating a safe and warm environment that is judgement free. She aims to promote growth, change, and resilience.
Natalie’s therapeutic approach is tailored to the clients needs. She often incorporates evidence based practices such as Cognitive Behavioral Therapy (CBT) and often utilizes Person centered elements to help clients feel understood, gain insight, and foster motivation in counseling.
Outside of the therapeutic setting, you can find Natalie spending time with her family and friends, and partaking in activities such as hiking and hot yoga.
